Before buying a Solana memecoin, check five things: freeze and mint authority, Token-2022 extensions, holder concentration, creator behaviour and age. Together they take about a minute by hand, or two seconds with a bot.
Freeze authority and mint authority should both be revoked. A live freeze authority means your tokens can be locked; a live mint authority means the supply can grow at will.
